Some new highlights relevant to RMG sector:

• TICFA: The first meeting of Bangladesh government with the US authority under the Trade and Investment Cooperation Framework Agreement(Ticfa) is likely to be held on April 6, 2017. Meanwhile, the US Ambassador Marcia Bernicat acknowledged that Bangladesh has taken giant strides in improving workplace safety in the RMG sector since the aftermath of the Rana Plaza building collapse, it is in labour rights where significant ground still needs to be covered.
