CPD RMG Study Stitching a better future for Bangladesh

In the last week of December 2016, the RMG team visited two factories: Remi Holdings and Tarasima Apparels located in Narayanganj and Manikganj respectively. Both the factories are leading producers of bottom including jeans and sports trousers in Bangladesh.

The team comprised of Sr Research Associate & RMG Study Project Manager Mr Kishore Kumer Basak and Visiting Research Associate Mr Abeer Khandker visited the factories. The RMG team was briefed on the factory production, processes, supply chain and gender-related initiatives by Mr Tarikul Hannan Tuheen, AGM – HR, Admin & Compliance of Remi Holdings and Mr Shawoon Debnath, DGM – Admin, HR & Compliance of Tarasima Apparels. They also provided inputs on the enterprise level questionnaire.
