Some news highlights relevant to RMG sector:

• Less Diversification is Risky: BGMEA President Siddiqur Rahman foresees that due to comparatively less diversification of RMG products, Bangladesh runs the risk of being overtaken by India and Vietnam in global competition.
• ILO’s DG Lauds Progress: The director general of ILO Guy Ryder lauded the progress towards safety and working condition in RMG sector and noted that the work must continue till all the factories are safe.
