Industrial Engineer
Engr. Faruk Ahmed is Senior Faculty member of the Department of Apparel Manufacture and Technology, BGMEA University of Fashion & Technology (BUFT). He holds his bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering(ME) from BUET and Executive MBA from IBA, DU. He is also pursuing M.Engg in Advance Engineering Management(AEM), IPE, BUET. He is also trained in Apparel Production Management from BIFT. Prior to joining BUFT, he worked as Production Officer in OPEX group and as an Industrial Engineer in ELITE Garment Industry. He is also involved in social works and leadership development program. He is the chairman of BUFT debate Club(BDC).In addition to his service as Faculty members of BUFT, he is now involved with the new study of Centre for Policy Dialogue (CPD) title “ New Dynamics in Bangladesh Apparel Enterprise” as an Industrial Engineer.

Productivity improvement, Ergonomics & Safety Management, operation research, Facility layout planning, lean management, six sigma process improvement, Supply chain, project management, strategic management and export business e growth analysis
