Moghbazar-Mouchak flyover opens tomorrow

After years of delayed construction causing untold sufferings to the city dwellers, Moghbazar-Mouchak will finally open tomorrow for public use. Prime minister Sheikh Hasina will officially inaugurate the 8.7 kilometre flyover at noon through a video conference.
The project completion deadline was extended several times allegedly because of faulty designs which also multiplied the project implementation cost.

Bangladesh signs two MOUs with Myanmar to resolve Rohingya crisis

With the intention of fetching security cooperation and dialogue and setting up border liaison office in respective countries, Bangladesh signed two memorandums of understanding with Myanmar on Tuesday. The memos were signed in a bilateral ministerial meeting held at the Myanmar foreign ministry to subdue the ongoing influx of Rohingays into Bangladesh.
In the meeting, Bangladesh urged Myanmar to take back Rohingyas and implement the recommendations made by the Kafi Annan Commission in late August.

A simple, fast, and inexpensive way to detect cancers at an early stage has been invented by a team led by an expatriate Bangladeshi scientist in Australia. The method is said to be so simple that anyone can diagnose cancer using it even at home.
