Some news highlights relevant to RMG sector:

• Swedish Ambassador: Mr Johan Frisell, the Swedish ambassador awarded Dr Mesba Faruqui, Director Operation of Multifabs, an export oriented knitwear factory, the Best Overall Performance Award 2016.
• Export Increase to Japan and Italy: According to Export Promotion Bureau (EPB), Bangladesh’s RMG export to Japan and Italy have increased substantially since 2015. There was a fear of reduced export due to terrorist attacks in Gulshan this year on Japanese and Italian nationals.
