Some news highlights relevant to RMG sector:

• HSBC Award: The fourth HSBC Export Excellence Awards ceremony was held on Saturday.  DBL Group, one of the fastest growing apparel companies, from Group A in the textile and ready made garment category was awarded for the second time since 2010, with annual export turnover of US Dollar 50 million or more. In the same category, SM Group of Companies Ltd won the award from Group B with annual export turnover less than US Dollar 50 million.
• Complaint against French Retailer:  Six RMG manufacturers placed complain with BGMEA against Mim, a French retailer for not paying US dollar 5 million. BGMEA has contacted the French Ambassador and requested intervention in this regard.
